Senior Sous Chef – Contemporary Japanese Restaurant, London
Salary up to £35K
We are looking to recruit a charismatic and creative Senior Sous Chef to join a spectacular Japanese Restaurant in West London. This is a modern fine dining operation that provides a fresh, contemporary and authentic Japanese dining experience.
The ideal Senior Sous Chef will be experienced within Sushi making and running of Robata. The Chef must have worked within a similar role running both section, for at least 3 years in a similar environment. The knowledge of Asian cuisine is essential to be consider for the position.
The Senior Sous Chef will:
·         Manage a team of 15 making sure the service is run under the health and safety regulation 
·         Be a leader and a team player: organisation is an essential skill for the position
·         Be passionate and ambitious
·         Running the kitchen when the head chef is away
·         Create staff duty rota
·         Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards
·         Managing food purchasing, storage and stocks
·         Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
