Sous Chef £28k - £30k

We are looking for a Sous Chef for this charming Hotel situated in Hertfordshire. As Sous Chef, you will oversee a busy operation producing high-quality cuisine utilising and showcasing the amazing local produce which is on the doorstep. Working with the Head chef you will create, and constantly evolve, seasonal menus and you will be responsible for all the kitchen operations, managing a dedicated and motivated team of staff.

We are looking for a Sous Chef with a high quality Restaurant or Hotel background. The Sous Chef will be responsible for running the kitchen operation on a day-to-day basis and ensuring the food standards, health and safety, hygiene and training are maintained. You will be a natural leader with the drive and ability to work under pressure while keeping a cool head.

This is a proven and constantly evolving operation that is now seeking a Sous chef with a strong culinary identity to make a long term partnership with the property.
